Apparently One of Today's Themes Is Obama Supporting Lieberman in the Primary
Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 10:33 PM by hnmnf
Lamont Endorsed Obama in this Primary. I think that effectively ends this story. Next topic/hit job.

1. Ends the topic? Forgiveness by another counts to Obama's credit?

2. It goes to him claiming to be a progressive agent of change
It is part of his record. If other's records can be questioned and Hillary can even be blamed for what the Clenis did then Obama's record has to be fair game.

8. I don't get it: Hillary supported Lieberman in the primary
As did most other Democratic senators (including Senator Boxer). But they all said if he didn't win they'd support the Dem nominee. And they did.

Don't believe Hillary was a Joe supporter? Memory lane:

Mrs. Clinton, in her statement issued on Tuesday, noted their longstanding ties in her opening line. ''I've known Joe Lieberman for more than 30 years. I have been pleased to support him in his campaign for re-election, and hope that he is our party's nominee,'' she wrote.

She continued: ''But I want to be clear that I will support the nominee chosen by Connecticut Democrats in their primary. I believe in the Democratic Party; and I believe we must honor the decisions made by Democratic primary voters.''

That should be the end of this ridiculous discussion.
