Speaking of HOPE
Speaking of Hope... My Only Hope regarding this primary is that we can pick a candidate that can win in November. I believe we have two wonderful choices and would be proud to vote for either. Yes, we can debate the pros and cons of each candidate, we can poke and prod and find reasons to support one over the other but we must not lose sight of the big picture.

We absolutely have to pick a winner, whichever it will be, and then all come together to support that candidate, be it the one of our choice or not so we may be in the white house again. We owe it to our children, our grandchildren, our fellow citizens and all the citizens of the world.

I have concerns about either candidate as many here seem to have. But despite those concerns, I am still happy with our options. My choice is no longer in the race. He was my choice because he championed the causes of others like me. He was my choice because the polls indicated he could beat the opposition in November. Yes, I would like for both remaining candidates to follow his lead in standing up for what he believes in. Yes, I would like for either candidate to tell me what I want to hear, and do it after election. Yes, I would like either candidate to win.

We may never agree on which candidate is best for our country, but I believe we can agree on one thing...either is much better than the alternative and furthermore, I believe we can all be proud of both. Let's hear it for the best party in America...

Let's celebrate the victory that we can have by uniting behind both candidates and march on to the big house in DC!

1. Thank you (anon.) for the heart donation :)
I have been away from DU for quite some time. Long story, I won't go there. Let's just say I was disenchanted with politics for a while. This primary season is reinvigorating me. Thanks for the heart... I can feel it beating... I guess you could say, I am no longer disen'heart'ened :)

Thanks, whomever you are.
