Obama's campaign made 54,000 calls today

This is astouding. Obama's campaign made 40,000 calls on Saturday and Sunday. They made 54,000 calls today!!! That's amazing. Who the hell is making these calls. The call times are from 9AM-9PM (I think). That's 4,500 calls an hour. At 30 calls an hour, that's 1800 people per hour. Amazing!

The people you reach on the other end want to talk to you. I'm just not hitting anything negative. It is interesting how many times you go to voice mail though... and it makes me think about the polling more deeply.

Since I'm in Ohio, I imagine I'll be getting bombarded by both camps with a lot of "Number Withheld" or out-of-town numbers soon. And won't the pollsters really start hitting us hard, probably right after Wisconsin?
