Just got back from a Bill Clinton speech at George Mason
Bill Clinton just gave a speech at GMU in Fairfax, Virginia. The place was filled to the brim and even though I'm an Obama/Edwards supporter I was still excited to go see the former President speak. I can't deny that he gave a great speech and I think that was because he didn't engage in any pettiness about Obama, but just acted as an advocate for his wife, and he is certainly her best advocate.

Unfortunately for the Clintons it looks like it's going to be a very bad day for them tomorrow in the Potomac Primaries but I will be working at a polling place in Fairfax working for a local congressional candidate handing out literature and taking down e-mail addresses. I'm very interested to see how high the turnout is going to be.

1. Does he give a basic stump speech type of thing? The clips I've seen of him
seem to be more give and take - more casual and relaxed.

I'd be excited to see a former President, too.

3. I'm not sure exactly
It was a pretty long speech, about 45 minutes I think. He talked a lot about Hillary and didn't even mention Obama by name once, although he did talk about McCain briefly. I've never seen him speak in person but I thought it was a great, even though I was very far away from him and had trouble seeing him because of my shortness lol.

So I guess it had some stump elements to it but it was longer than most stump speeches I think.

5. Yeah it was great that he came!
Obama came here in January or February of last year and I was disappointed he didn't come back, although both he and Hillary have been to high schools right around here.
