6. It depends on your definition.
Does she want "progress"? Again, what sort of progress?

"Progressive" is a label that means different things to different people.

I don't support Clinton, but I believe that she wants to change our current situation. The biggest issue I ahve with her (and, to a slightly lesser degree, Obama) is that she's trying to do it by using methods I deplore.

The entire system is broken and we're really not going to make substantive changes until we're willing to change it...and the "system" is where HRC gets all of her power.

8. Stupid poll
Political issues are complex, and we shouldn't pigeonhole the candidates with simple labels.

16. It is a good question, but bad poll
It just polarizes the discussion into an us vs them, black and white issue

10. No. A progressive would lead on key progressive issues. She doesn't. She resists.
Her behavior as senator is the reason I cannot see her carrying the liberal or progressive banner. She's all too ready to be an imperial president, a unitary president, who lacks any sense of restraint, or is compelled to follow law.

The conduct of her campaign the past 6 weeks has confirmed my worst fears of where she would take us and the country - DOWN. That's why I think she's poison for November.

13. In her defense, she has to play politics
You can have the most progressive agenda, but if no one in congress agrees with you, it doesn't matter. Politicians have to make compromises when they don't have the support of the entire nation.

12. Progressive Score Clinton: 91.11%, Obama 88.37%

www.ProgressivePunch.com

Progressive Score for Clinton: 91.11%

http://progressivepunch.yvod.com/members.jsp?search=selectName&member=NYI&chamber=Senate&zip=&x=35&y=7

Progressive Score for Obama: 88.37%

http://progressivepunch.yvod.com/members.jsp?search=selectName&member=ILIII&chamber=Senate&zip=&x=41&y=9

For some reason, they gave Kucinich a score of 87.40%. I am not sure how correct the website is, though.

ON EDIT: Here is a link to the discussion on dailykos. It seems that Clinton and Obama are not that much different.

18. Right answer
Both are moderate Democrats. What amazes me is that, in polls, 25% of peole think HRC is extremely liberal, vs 13% for BO. The fact that both are really centrist Dems show how little people understand politics.
