What tough questions/issues have the press put to Barack Obama? |
|
Serious question.
I don't think there have been a lot, but I would like to hear from some of those who are for Obama.
List the same for Hillary, if you are so inclined, in case I missed any over the past 15 years.
If you have link information, I will appreciate it, but is not mandatory -- the only restriction is, please don't quote yourself.
Thanks in advance!

1. When pressed about pulling the troops out of Iraq if things get worse |
|
his answer was "I reserve". Sort of like "no vote"

Its not as much the questions they ask as the difference in the kind of coverage each candidate gets.

3. Sitting on them until they get rid of Hillary |

This reminds me of Fla primaries - in 2004? (2003?). Janet Reno was sandbagged by a combination of media attacks/ diebolding - in favor of a wishy washy attorney. Once he secured the nomination, he pretty much laid off campaigning - and let Jebbie have a free reign. I forgot his name - Butterscotch? Butterfield? there was an intense fight on DU between the partisans of both - that sort of reminds me of these primaries...

I thought the Obama supporters would have flooded this thread by now. But there is only ONE post that goes into any detail, the one that's a link to Politico.
Kick for the overnight crowd.

9. 60 Minute's interviews |
|
they seemed to ask more questions "of substance" of BO than of HRC. Though to be fair that could be because Couric interviewed HRC and she's not known for her "reporting". Here's a HuffPo piece with both links: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/02/11/60-minutes-obama-and-cli_n_86054.html:shrug:

11. so I should google these questions for you? |
|
do your own homework.
besides, I'm not sure what passes the threshold of "tough enough" for you. 60 minutes had a pretty fair interview the other day. watch that.
