Obama vs. Hillary on Correcting Corruption in Washington, DC |
|
Several of us have been discussing/comparing the policy positions of Obama and Hillary on resolving the corruption and making those guilty pay for their crimes while this administration was in charge.
I see Obama has taken mention out of his website. I have heard neither speak to correcting this problem thru the legal process.
Does anyone know what they are saying and if it is hot air or a solid policy? If not, where has their determination gone? This issue will help me to decide which I vote for.

1. key questions that should/must be asked of both candidates include . . . |
|
- What will you do to correct the imbalance in government that the Bush administration has created?
- Will you negate all of Bush's presidential signing statements, and promise not to use such statement to circumvent laws passed by Congress?
- Will you immediately restore habeus corpus?
- Will you promise not to illegally spy on American citizens, and negate all Bush policies that have permitted such spying?
- Will you disclose to the American people the full extent of the construction of detention camps by Halliburton/KBR, including their purpose, their location, and their capacities?
- Will you solemnly swear to uphold the Constitution and reject all Bush administration policies that violate it?
- Will you actively investigate the Bush/Cheney administration's crimes against the Constitution and against U.S. and international law, and prosecute based on the evidence?
any candidate who refuses to answer these questions, or who answers them inadequatly, does not deserve my vote in November . . .
I'm sure there are more . . . feel free to add your own . . .
