On the matter of the Democrats Abroad |
|
When do we know the results of that primary? Where can we check when they come in? The primary closes today, after a week of polling.
I've been waiting for this day. I voted for Obama last week!
Looks like I'll be £20 richer soon enough (made a bet with my friend in the pub who still stubbornly says Hillary will win, even going as far as teasing me that I have a Hillary hairstyle, which of course isn't true!)

...13 delegates is not a trivial amount, considering how close this could end up being.

3. I'm looking for the results everywhere |

I should check on the DA website. It looks like the Democratic primaries are open for Luxembourg and Paris today. Those close at 6:00 pm (Paris) and 9:30 pm (Luxembourg).
So it won't be until the evening when we find out or even tomorrow.
COME ON! It's the only time I'll actually be awake for the results to come in! :-)

Today is the last voting day. I voted for Obama on 2/5. I would be surprised if he won Mexico, but there have been so many surprises in this race :)

5. My registration failed so I have been disenfranchised twice |

My Florida vote would not have really counted...
And now, I didn't get to vote in the Dems Abroad Primary...
Just feeling sorry for myself at the moment. :(

I'm hoping soon, but I imagine it will take a while to get the votes in from around the whole planet

I just got an email from the DA UK Chair, Bill Barnard.
"Well, we will know the results from the Primary after February 21, when Christine Schon Marques, our International Chair, and her counting team in Geneva (including Robbie Checkoway, who serves both as International Secretary and on our DAUK Executive Committee), complete the checks and double checks to ensure maximum integrity possible in our voting process."
So we won't know until next week!
:-( I really wanted to know Today! Oh well... we'll wait until next week! Maybe I'll post when I find out! :-)
