It's not over till its OVER, lets quit the gloating folks.
Speculation, gloating, name calling still going on.

Fact of the matter is this is the tightest race seen in quite some time, haven't we learned by now that speculation and overconfidence can come back to bite us in the butt?

Obama people, please stop rubbing the Clinton supporters noses in the fact that your candidate is sweeping right now. She's not competitive in the states he's winning, (no, I don't support her but this stuff is getting old) the real tests will come in the states she's pouring money into.

Clinton people, please quit diminishing the wins of the Obama campaign, if it were Clinton you folks would be ecstatic. Let them have a little pride. Obama for a long time wasn't expected to get this far.

It doesn't matter WHO you support, support them in a way that the lurkers will go "Hrm..wow...I never knew that" and then they might take a second look at the one you support. More people read these forums than you realize, I was one of them for a long time before I actually made an account and donated.

I may end up shaking my head alot over posts here, but there have been some good ones that I would love to see more of.

Can we please stop tearing down the others endorsements, etc? Just because they endorse a candidate doesn't mean you have to agree with them. Heck, if Edwards endorses Clinton I'll be deeply disappointed in him but you will NOT see me in here bashing him with a stick.

Fat lady hasn't sung yet, let's hold our applause for after the show. You wouldn't stand up in the middle of a play just because your favorite actor delivered a line worthy of a grammy would you? Nope, that would be "rude"...

So lets not do it here either hrm?

1. Thank you!
I have avoided even reading posts on this board since my candidate, John Edwards, 'suspended' his campaign. I am just amazed at how so many people have obviously bought into the BIG LIE of MSM. I see so many posts supporting their candidate with just outright lies. Both Clinton and Obama supporters. We have a big fight on our hands in this country and the fact that we're using our energies and resources to fight among ourselves is so disheartening. May the best man/woman win.

2. I'm so happy that as a Texan I will have some say in
the nomination process. My only regret is that I would've like to cast my vote for Edwards but at least it looks like I will be able to vote for one of two.

3. GREAT post...
My stomach sinks every time I visit here lately but I do know that there is news and a spattering of intelligent opininions (used to be more of a majority here...) here that I can't find anywhere else.

The MSM has played a HUGE part in this "war" and my only fear is that they know something we don't...like the repubs have big plans to destroy Obama if he wins... They still are a tool for the GOP and their campaign for Obama just seems too suspect...makes me nervous...

4. I'll make no promises after Texas and Ohio though
if we win one or both of those, we deserve a victory parade in here.

5. Definately, understood and agreed with.
Thank you for looking at this and commenting though :)

If he wins Tx and Ohio I will be one of the first going :wow:

I don't really support either one, I still want Edwards. :( Pipe dream I know.

13. No, say HRC wins WI AND TX, Obama folk still need to push for EVERY LAST DELEGATE
It is REALLY important, in this situation, where it is EXTREMELY difficult for Obama to make it ALL the way to the magic number (2025?) of delegates needed to insure the nomination, that Obama folk push to get EVERYONE to vote (for Obama). Some people have been saying 'vote in MD and VA no matter what the polls say' as if it didn't matter whether Obama won with 51% or 68% -- BUT IT DOES MATTER A LOT.

If, as seems to me LIKELY, Obama does NOT make it all the way to the majority on pledged delegates alone, then he needs a REALLY commanding lead in both raw votes and delegates so that the SuperDels will rally behind him.

I hope this argument is clear, as I've tried to make it before and often it comes out confusing.....

6. If Obama had lost 5 in a row.......
he'd be nothing more than a fancy footnote in our 21st century history.

But whatever! :eyes:

10. Oh I agree with you...

I'm not discounting that at all, thats why I asked that the Clinton stupporters stop trying to diminish his accomplishments. It's amazing that he's sweeping right now, however the real litmus will come in Oh and Tx.

Any form of unearned priviledge makes me ill, including female and I'm a woman.

7. please keep in mind HRC was inevitable
and many people resented it.
When she would smooze her way through NYS prior to this race, she would talk about doing the work of New Yorkers. Chuck Schumer does work for NY. HRC seems to work for HRC. HRC 2008, in fact.
So when I see her fail NY, just because she always needs to figure how things will play in Peoria, it makes me

I never thought that she could lose.
I am glad the sheeple didn't just roll over for her.
I'm not an Obama man, but I suggest he watch his knees, watch his back. The Bigdog and Hilldog will mess you up!

9. I understand fully...

It would make me mad as heck too.

The whole inevitable thing, I tried to address by saying that Obama was never expected to get this far (was being tactful) So yes, if you support him be happy and proud, I'm all for that. What I can't stand is the ones that are overly mean about it, it makes me think of kids in a sandbox going "Neener neener...I have a bulldozer and YOU have a truck...Neener neener" (Whoever in the lead at the time taking the role of the dozer)

8. I tell ya
The higher you fly, the harder you fall. I hope Obama wins, but I would never assume that it's over because he's winning some states he was expected to win. Just wait until OH and TX, it'll be payback time.

11. An excellent post! K&R from me. Instead of the post limit,
Skinner should make the OP mandatory reading, with an "I Accept" button, for anyone wishing to start a thread in GD-P.
