Today, I vote for History; with a capital H. |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 10:31 AM by WillTheGoober
I will be voting today in the Maryland primary.
I am blessed to live in a time when I have a choice between a black candidate and a woman candidate. As you know if you read this site, I have chosen Hillary Clinton to be my next President. Serious times call for a serious leader. I am proud of Hillary and what she's been able to accomplish in this country as a woman. Women have been suppressed throughout humanity and come 2009, a woman will be commander-in-chief of the most powerful nation in the world. That is universal -- that is revolutionary.
Enjoy this folks -- it's history.
W.

That is a good picture of her. Is this somehow twistable into a negative comment. Just take a breath.
I too feel that you are implying that Hillary is more serious than Obama. Frankly, thats fine. Its your right. If you didn't feel she was better in some way she wouldn't be your choice.
I do feel that this is a historic occasion. Considering the short run of JFK. This could be the era where the worst we've had was followed by the best we've had. That goes for either candidate.

5. Then you support the FACT that she voted to send our kids to war in Iraq for political reasons. |
|
For the sake of her own ambition.

This isn't a debate.
I post something about voting for Hillary -- I did not post anything negative about Obama or any other candidate.
I am not a single-issue voter.

I think it's amazing that our choice is between two phenomenal candidates who happen to be a woman and a black man. Makes me proud to be a democrat. I'm with you though in that I choose Hillary.
Thanks for voting and I'm sorry some had to come here and piss on your thread.

I voted today and I tell you this, As I talked to everyone leaving the polling stations ... people said "I didn't even see Obama's name on the ballot."
I'm not sure why -- but I had the same experience. I know he was on there ... but I don't remember seeing his name.
Perhaps that's a sign of how this election goes... supporters see in tunnel vision when it comes to their choice of candidate.
