1. And Obama's numbers will only go up ...
that's what happens when you have a grassroots enthusiasm. People talk to their friends and neighbors, and his numbers go up even more.

3. This I completely agree with
People that I've never spoken politics with before, not only brought up the subject, but we had great intelligible conversations on it. One friend, who is dem - but remains independent 'just in case', had a long indepth conversation with me not long ago. She was 150% for Obama, and despite what some here might believe (thinking it was all about hope and unattainable things) - it was an issues conversation. The differences some subtle, others vast, between HRC & Obama - we even discussed McCain. Although admittedly it was more about his fall from grander times, and his onset of dementia.

4. Obama code "non-confrontation politics"- code for "I tried and failed for next 4 years" - is selling
well -

and we know it will not be his fault because his supporters will say our Congress just failed to follow a "great leader".

Forget about real moves to the left - and get ready for 4 years of "great speeches"- and kiss universal health leading to medicare good-bye as the Medicare option is something that "had to be sacrificed to get the bill passed"
