My Virginia Primary report
I voted this morning at 7:00 at my son's elementary school in Burke. No difference in the turnout than normal. However, I stood around watching for a few minutes and noticed that people were requesting democratic ballots about 6-1 over repub ballots. The repub ballots, I suspect were Huckabee votes. NPR reported 15 minute waits at Arlington voting schools.

3. very small line where I was at. .
This was about 10:45 A.M South Crater Road Petersburg. (Don't recall the name of the building.. it was a medical place I believe)

The volunteers were very nice and helpful though, good first voting experience in Petersburg (Was registered elsewhere in the past)

9. I live in a precinct where turnout hasn't been all that high...
at least in the last couple of state/fed elections. I'm in SW Va. I went at about 10:50AM, had to wait behind two people! (No turnout is not usu. high in my precinct!). But after I voted there were 7-8 people lined up. So I suspect turnout will be higher that usual this time around. There hasn't been a wait at all in the last 2 elections. And Dems are where only real contest is so suspect Dems are getting most of the voting.
