Has much has Hillary changed since 1992? |
|
Is she still the same candidate that tried to push thru healthcare reform? As I recall, a major part of that reform was a larger role for HMO's, part of our present problem? Also, there was no way she could write a personal check for $5 million at that time. She has many more inside friends now than then. She made many more new friends after 9/11 and was able to accumulate many more taxpayer dollars to help her state because of that. And that was why she was so quick to support the war in Iraq. We have all changed since 1992 but so has Hillary. Just my perspective.

1. The situation is different... |

Back in the late 80's, early 90's, the HMO concept was being sold and touted as the saviour of the system. These gatekeepers were supposed to 'Manage' health care which meant they would be more holistic and focus on prevention. We all know how that concept turn out. The HMO just became a middle-man who got a piece of the health care dollar. The publics view and experience with HMOs are much different today.

2. well, you could just focus on the negative aspects of her growth |
|
but, there are so many obvious positive changes in her life to tout, as well.
These personalizations are always subject to one's own perspective.
