Hillary has some big endorsements coming? Anyone know anything about any upcoming endorsements for Hillary?

1. Seems like she
could really use them today; if she has them, I'm not sure what the hold up is.

9. Ack!
Don't get me started on Hilary Rosen and her part in the treacherous music industry crackdown on the people's music. Grrr.

26. I'm an old fart too
But Ms. Rosen is well known to this ex-deejay:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilary_Rosen

Ever read about how the music industry sues single moms and college kids for downloading songs? Or maybe how that same industry pushed to be able to install computer virus' on people's machines, in order to protect their "property"? You can thank Ms. Rosen for that.

8. But what can she say? "We're getting our ass beat like a rented mule?!"
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 12:10 PM by TexasObserver
Even if she got Edwards and Gore, which I don't think she will, it's not going to help. The problem is people don't like her as the nominee, some for substantive reasons, some for personal reasons.

15. Hillary is ahead in the Popular Vote. The people do like her.
But I suppose repeating the lie that people do not like her ad nauseum makes Obama Supporters feel pumped.

Popular Vote Total as of 2/12/2008

Clinton 9,077,984 47.50%
Obama 8,662,315 45.33%

16. If so, that won't really do much good, frankly.
Most people, especially those under 40, don't really know who he is and frankly don't care much if they do. You'd think that'd be different in Ohio, but it isn't. I'm from Ohio, although I'm in SD now, and most Ohioans don't give much of a shit about him, either. They don't dislike him or anything like that, and he's a good man, it's just that they really don't care much about him or what he thinks. He's kind of been put on the back burner.

Frankly, while much ballyhoo is made of them by the media, I don't think endorsements mean all that much to most people, anyway. People usually don't vote for or against someone based on who endorses them. I think endorsements don't help much if you like the person endorsing a candidate because chances are you're already likely to vote for them based on similarities you may have with the endorser. And if you don't like someone, their endorsement of a candidate sure as hell isn't gonna make you want to run out and vote for their preferred candidate.

23. Space advocates know who he is and he's well respected in that community. That's at least a...
...million plus individuals who know and respect the guy and have seen that Hillary actually has space policy.

25. I'm not saying I don't respect and admire him,
or that he's in any way a bad person or anything remotely like that. All I'm saying is that he's a blast from the past, so to speak, that most people really don't know who he is and don't really care, frankly. I don't think it's going to make much difference. He wouldn't make much difference no matter which candidate he endorsed.
