Has anyone ever had a sit down discussion with either candidate? |
|
Just wondering if anyone has ever met Clinton or Obama? I met Gore after he "lost" the election and we chatted (I am a flight attendant and he was on my flight) he was so nice, funny (and handsome ;) ) It was great chatting with him.. so I was wondering if anyone HAS met one of them and what did you think?

Without going into detail I would say that I'd rather spend more time with Senator Obama than Senator Clinton.
(As for Gore...I remember VIVIDLY the day he *kissed* me before the 2000 election!)

Met Obama at a smallish fundraiser for Whitehouse. This was long before he thought he should run for president and had to be nice to people. I did not like him at all. Period. Not at all. I will never vote for him.
Let's just say when I met him, I was with my sister who is beautiful and rich. He paid a lot of attention to her. I, on the other hand, to put not too a delicate hand on it look like a bull dyke. And I can say that because I'm talking about myself.
After introductions, I didn't hear one more peep out of him while he was extremely attentive and very nice whenever my sister (who is also wealthy) opened her mouth.
I don't like him personally and I believe (remember, my perception) that he does not like LGBTQ people on a personal level.
Whether he was attentive to her and not me could have been a number of factors, none of which sit well with me.
She's beautiful, I am not. She's thin, I am not She's rich, I am not. She flirts, I do not.
It's personal why I don't like Obama and nothing anyone can say will change that. I know I'm not going to change anyone else's mind but I don't really care.
I *do* think he has a problem with LGBTQ people and I know he used us as scapegoats to get the African American Evangelical vote in South Carolina. Add in two other facts - he refused to have his picture taken with Gavin Newsome and he is anti marriage equality when his own church is pro marriage equality and it adds up to him having a problem with LGBTQ Americans.
He speaks of "Tolerance." Fuck tolerance! You tolerate things you hate but have to live with to get along in society. I don't want your fucking tolerance.
And as for his "religious" reasons for not liking us folk -- well, that same bible was used to justify the enslavement of African Americans for hundreds of years -- now he and his ilk use it to discriminate against us?
How dare he.
Like I said, it's personal. I will never vote for him. So all you Obama people might as well put me on ignore.
I'm not a Clinton supporter either, which leaves me in quite the pickle. Though I probably would cast a vote for her in the general whereas if Obama is the nominee, I'm writing in Gore.
