New SurveyUSA Ohio Poll - 56 Clinton, 39 Obama |
|
http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=d557457d-00cb-4628-9549-16029e76b808Hillary always has an advantage due to name recognition. I wonder how long it will take Obama to get this lead down to single digits? It just amazes me how Obama always starts low in polls and he always bridges the gap. I expect the same this time.

7. 51 for Hillary, 47 for Obama |
|
but Survey USA estimates that at about 6% of their sample. So absentee ballot voting a month or two before hand will not have as much an impact here as it did in California, so Hillary does not have that advantage.
This state will be won on the ground in the next few weeks.

Obama hasn't really started to campaign here and he IS already at 39 percent. The early voting Isn't as bad against him as It was In California so this could be won.

12. Congrats Hillary supporters |
|
The nomination is yours after a highly contested nomination battle. A coronation turned into a dog-fight but your lady was able to maintain her composure through the bad times and always stay in the hunt. Her strength in all of the key swing states is admirable. Obama put up a big fight and a good fight against the so-called inevitable candidate and nearly won. If he had won New Hampshire, maybe he would have been able to pull it out. I really truly believe that Obama had the abilty to unite America like no president ever has and be one of the best. Maybe 2016.
A remarkable campaign and I congratulate you on your victory as much as it pains me to say it. It'll be a fascinating contest in November between her and Mccain. I wonder what Obama will do now. Maybe run for governor of Illinois to gain executive experience or something.
No candidate can win every single major swing state and lose the nomination. HRC has to be called the presumptive nominee at this time:( I'm surprised she's up by so much in Ohio but she is.
Congrats again.
Please note I'm not trolling at all. I'm devastated by these numbers but I know what a loss in Ohio of this magnitude will do to Obama's campaign and need to accept it.

13. Obama leads there among independents and Republicans |
|
that's a very good sign for the general election. It's not crucial that he win Ohio- that's always been seen as her stronghold.
It IS crucial that he be seen as having a chance to win there in the general, and his showing among independents is a very good sign.
