Do you think Dennis Kucinich will continue to "not" endorse a candidate?
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 05:49 PM by RiverStone
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but Dennis Kucinich made it know upon withdrawing from the primaries that he would not endorse another candidate.

However, the closest he came was in Iowa - when he said:

“I hope Iowans will caucus for me as their first choice," Kucinich said in a statement. "But in those caucus locations where my support doesn't reach the necessary threshold, I strongly encourage all of my supporters to make Barack Obama their second choice. Sen. Obama and I have one thing in common: Change.”

The senator from Illinois issued his own statement of thanks.

“I have a lot of respect for Congressman Kucinich, and I’m honored that he has done this because we both believe deeply in the need for fundamental change,” he said. “He and I have been fighting for a number of the same priorities -- including an end to the war in Iraq that we both opposed from the start."

I know Dennis needs to focus on his own re-election; just wondering if anybody has heard anything from him recently? Ohio seems to be moving under the radar as (with Texas) a key state in either securing Obama's nomination with a win, or slow his momentum with a Hillary victory.

I just wonder as his state becomes a key player in deciding our nominee, will Dennis speak out or at least drop a hint or two regarding his preference for a candidate?

1. I don't think so
I think dennis is fighting for his life and with this huge debate he could lose much needed support by endorsing one candidate(ie if obama hillary supporters get PO'd and vice versa) I would think he would like it to go to the least anti establishment candidate but I'm not his voice.

3. Didn't he essentially endorse Obama in Iowa?
I thought I remember him telling people to vote for Obama.
