The wages of triangulation is loss
Hillary is blaming her losses on Black voters, activists, latte liberals, conservatives, and independent voters.

While this is an overly simplistic model, there is probably some truth to be found here.

African Americans, activists, and latte liberals are some of the most progressive groups within the party, and they are rejecting her. Why? Because they remember feeling sold out during the Clinton administration.

Conservatives and independents are also rejecting her, but not in the numbers I think she's trying to push. Many of them may have been on the other side of the divide during the Clinton years, and they remember the divisiveness of the time and feeling like the Clintons were just not Kosher. Some of them might be sexists not ready to see a woman president. And many of them might just look back and the Clinton years and go "So what?" That being said, Hillary did well in the more conservative areas of California.

She's tried to have it all ways, and it hasn't worked.

1. Marketing failure.
You have to know who your target audience is, and what their motivations are.

3. But don't you think....
there are some blacks that are voting for Obama just because he is black? I think you are kidding yourself if you don't think this is happening.

4. there probably are, just as there
are women who vote for Hillary only because she's a woman.

I think they probably cancel each other out.

That sure didn't come to pass....

5. two weeks ago I saw her on Nightline and she was terrific
relaxed sincere straightforward. All I could think of us why in the hell do they try and package her when they have this? The biggest difference in the two candidates is, I think, that Hillary is trying to conform to a script and Obama is just being himself - and having fun.

If Hillary had canned her advisors and pollsters and just run as herself she might have been president.
