15. Wow! If that continues, Hillary is toast.

Hillary can't afford to lose the female voters and expect to win anywhere.

21. Yup. I really think this is it for Clinton.
I don't think she'll make it until March. It's going to be too much of a beating.

8. Not by much
I agree that it's a concern, but 52-48 is probably within or close to the margin of error.

13. It's not even a concern, though--it's pretty much expected, if you look at the polls. NT

10. So he wins 8 contests in a row all of them by huge margins

and you talk about red flags?

He can't be expected to win absolutely all groups of voters.

18. I don't think so.
Late deciders tend to go with the "safe choice."

22. When he's getting 60% of the overall vote, the % of late deciders is pretty small overall

11. LOL, yep....
He ought to sweep the Potomac primaries, in particular there. This confuses me, though:

Women voters: Obama 58, Cliton 42...........

The typo AND the claim?

6. Don't get excited yet...early exits were wrong last week
Obama was doing much better in the early exits than he ended up doing...part of that was probably due to early voting, but it also seemed like Clinton got the bulk of the late-in-the-day voters last week. So don't get excited yet...these numbers are probably wrong.

23. I'm not surprised. He's gaining momentum in a big way and Hillary is standing by waiting for TX&OH.
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 06:59 PM by AgadorSparticus
I'm betting that Obama will go into TX and OH and sweep there too. Hillary needs to stop playing the waiting game. The longer she waits, the harder it will be for her to make up ground. Her inevitability was so yesterday.

to add: and while he's gaining momentum and winning the smaller states, he's getting exposure and name recognition which equates to more donations and money.
