This must be killing him that he can't be part of this night! He apologized many times. I wish he was allowed back tonight.

answer questions about Iraq, Bush made Petraeus do the dirty work. He was insulted for Petraeus and the way he was allowing himself to be used.
Keith used the word exactly as it was supposed to be used.
And maybe you should have explained just this fact when you posted your remark, so that it doesn't present a distorted view.

He would have had to have been asking to be fired had it meant that sexually. His conversation was in the political context, not the political context. He simply asked whether the Clintons were using her to "procure" the superdelegate vote. It was pretty clear, I thought.
But this will pass.

I think its a far cry to go from "pimped her out" (which suggest Hillary is the pimp, not Chelsea) vs what Imus said... I think they are on two totally different levels of filth. Let the punishment fit the crime I say.
and lets face it, if calling Hillary a pimp is bad, shouldn't we not be allowed to use terms like media-whore?

Imus and Shuster work for a news organization that wishes to project an image that they hold themselves to some minimal standard.

I suspect that they wanted to make two points:

It's been much ado about nothing, another phoney outrage for the Clinton Campaign, the latest of many. He clearly used the term in a manner acceptable to most Americans under 35 years old. It wasn't literal, and no one with any sense would say it was meant literally. As a figure of speech, it's no different than saying James Carville is a whore for Clinton.
It's a double standard, but that's how Team Hillary likes to play it.
