73. Some people have been accused of having their noses stuck in Clinton's zipper.
But by dragging out the blue dress, it leads me to believe one's appetite might be enticed by something on the dress.

Of course, I am sure you would not fall into either category.

74. I was just stating a fact. I have never seen her concede at any other time.
She stood up and lied for her husband until the proof was presented to the public.

I don't give a fuck where Bill put his penis. I did, however, care how they dealt with the situation at the time.

She stood up and lied for Mr. Bush and the proof has been presented to the public. She certainly hasn't conceded when it comes to her IWR vote.

Perhaps you do not know the definition of 'concede"?

76. I understand perfectly. Do you?
When she said these words, I knew exactly what she meant. It's a direct quote and she was speaking directly to me:

"If the most important thing to any of you is choosing someone who did not cast that vote or has said his vote was a mistake, then there are others to choose from," Mrs. Clinton told an audience in Dover, N.H., in a veiled reference to two rivals for the nomination, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois and former Senator John Edwards of North Carolina.

78. I believe I understand even better than you, by far.
Arguably, the worst airline accident in history, where hundreds were killed, would not have happened had the pilot of the Pan Am jet as it taxied along the runway been given accurate information.

This pilot did not make a mistake. But if he only were given a chance at a redo, he certainly would not have done what he did at the time.

83. The analogy was quite faulty.
It appears to be given more as justification to discard Hillary's own words.

That pilot had to make split second decisions based on his lifetime experience and under extreme conditions.

Clinton did not have to act on a split seconds notice. She had access to far more information about the situation in Iraq and had been witness firsthand to her husband's tactic to use the hyped-up threat of weapons of mass destruction to justify his sanctions. I have no doubt in my mind that Mrs. Clinton cast a vote for war, not for more inspections. Some proof of that can be found in her floor speech wherein while calling for more inspections she discredits the inspectors as possibly having their own motives to skew information.

I guess you do understand it better than me, because I'm still just sitting here shaking my head.

And it was incorrect. And it is proven that this is the fault of the accident.

As stated above, I do not buy into faulty intelligence as her justification for her vote for war.

She could at least congratulate him on winning the Potomac Primary. If she did that, she could look a little bit better going into Texas (if she still chooses to ignore Wisconsin and Hawaii).

She's not so that makes her a sore loser, IMO.

67. IF that were teh case Barak would have been on his knees
Since the M$M and the like, had decided that they preferred having Hilary in office, over Mr. Obama.
Thankfully that is not the case.
I started out most enamored with Hilary, then I kept ONLY hearing Dennis Kusinich saying the things >I< was thinking that needed to be done. Simple, but painful things that would in the long run to great things for our country. Hell all we have to do is ENFORCE the tax codes on the rich and corporations and we'd be solvent very quickly. (not paying down the debt, but at least no more deficit spending).

It's not that I'd think MRS Rodem-Clinton (sorry can't spell, and I'm sick of seeing her name as MS, when she IS married! THAT is really disrespectful imho) would suck as a president, it's that I think Obama would have more radical, sweeping ideas. That that's something we NEED desperately right now.

The Clintons are good "mostly stable but could be better" administrators. Bill did amazing things in the 90's but he also did some very stupid things. i don't blame the DOT COM bust on him, that was stupid investors who thought money would magically appear and make them billionaires. The reality is that new tech and ideas take time, and the DOT COMmers were not given that time. great things came out of that boom, but the expectations were unrealistic, and the reality that it WOULD take time for many of these ideas to come to fruition is what caused the investors to pull out and collapse the economy like they did.

The fact that our jobs were sent whole sale to India and beyond did not help, especially when * practically made it mandatory for that to happen, all the "21st century jobs" that were supposed to replace working at McDonald's evaporated overnight, literally in some instances.

Hilary would have been great to clean up the mess of the 1st term of *, but I don't think she really has the vision to properly clean up after him now. maybe as a VP, or in 8 years she'll make a fine president, but she's come off as corporatist and we can't afford that right now.

I'm not crazy about obama either. But since I have to choose between the two, I suppose i am supporting him.

65. I watched her speech......and although, like McCain, they have attempted to
syphon off whatever each felt might work for them from Obama's message, it ain't really working.

She's trying to articulate about dreams and hope and using "we" now........but her style looks forced and fake....and unauthentic. She said she found her voice, but she lost it again....and her message keeps changing based on what Obama is saying and doing......leaving him to look like the leader, and her; a cheap imitation that is almost laughable.

I kind of feel sorry for her, because it is painfully obvious to anyone paying attention, that she just isn't affective in the format.

This just wasn't her time, like she thought. It was ours.

72. Yet another DU thread that would get by the mods at...
freerepublic.

The Obama party in full-throated cry: A party of independents, Republicans, evangelicals, and conservative voters.
