Hillary is a terrible speaker
And it is why she will lose. She is the most uninspiring person. Biden and Dodd were direct and blunt. Edwards was passionate. Kucinich was a rebel. I cant figure out what she is doing she sounds like shes TRYING to mean what she says. Shes full of it.

1. She shouts to try and project strength
imagine listening to that loud grating monotone for eight years!

and it's so amusing that everytime Obama kicks the shit out of her she comes on to give a speech like she won something.

3. I Agree
Her voice to me is much like chewing on aluminum foil.
The PANDERING at the opening of the speech was repulsive. Surprised she didn't mention Juan Valdez and Jose Faliciano. If she thinks she can bullsit the Hispanic communidad she is once again mistaken.

4. The problem is....
....that when it comes to being involved in campaigns for elected office she is so used to having it all her own way that she does not know how to cope when in trouble. She is proving herself to be completely and utterly inadequate at dealing with this sort of adversity. Goodness knows what would happen if she found herself as the nominee and toiling 15% behind McCain in the polls as the election drew closer.

Like, "I vote to authorize an illegal invasion of Iraq in which scores will die."

14. She is a terrible speaker. George Mitchell loves to tell a story about Muskie.
Back in the day, Mitchell was a young guy working in the Ed Muskie campaign. He said it was great to hear that stump speech, but every time Muskie gave it, he went longer and repeated himself more.

He finally gutted it up and told Ed he thought he ought to cut back on the stump speech, keep it in a time limit. "Son," Muskie told him, "when you become a politician you'll find that nothing is quite as enchanting as the sound of your own voice!"

15. I wouldn't say "terrible"...
...She just isn't anywhere nearly as good as Obama. He really has natural talent as an orator and that is really hard to compete with.

18. I disagree.
I think she is a pretty good speaker. I have several majory policy differences with her, but I occasionally find myself thinking that if I were not as politically aware, and had not studied the issues, I might have been swayed by some of her rallies.

THEATER!

Tad Sorensen could make fucking Bush or McCain sound like JFK and Obama

32. She's better than McCain, which is roughly equivalent to...
...being taller than Danny DeVito.

But, in the psychotic world that DU has now become, being good at making speeches is somehow a frightening or "creepy" facet of a politician now.
