Read this article and tell me you don't believe this is a cult
Read this and tell me you still don't think this is a cult-like atmosphere.

Most of the women cited in this article can't even really articulate why they are supporting him, beyond the "charisma." Well...charisma doesn't put food on anyone's table, or help them pay their bills. Charisma doesn't lower the number of people living in poverty, or without health insurance.

It seems to me that a bunch of uneducated voters who don't have a clue, are about to ruin this country.

Obama fever catches on among women

by Kerry Sheridan
Tue Feb 12, 6:24 PM ET

COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (AFP) - You can see it in their flushed-face smiles and hear it in their screams. They say the phenomenon is difficult to describe, but once they experience it they tell their friends, sisters, mothers and daughters, and they come back for more if they can.

"He's very charismatic. It was a 'you-had-to-be-there' kind of experience,"
said Lolita Breckenridge, 37, after hearing Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama address a packed rally at the University of Maryland on Monday.

A dedicated supporter, she brought two of her friends to hear the Illinois senator deliver one of his much-talked-about speeches.

"Not too much of the speech was new to me," she admitted. "But hearing him live..." she trailed off, shaking her head and grinning.

-snip-

He did not flinch when women screamed as he was in mid-sentence, and even broke off once to answer a female's cry of "I love you Obama!" with a reassuring: "I love you back."

23. Its the WAR STUPID... there is very very little difference btw them on the issues.
You would know that if you take the time to read their platforms.

It is her war vote that was made for political purposes that helped bush send troops off to die.
It is the fact that she made a point of flying into washington to vote FOR Kyl/lieberman

And now to add to that, she made a point NOT to fly into town on the date of presidential primary in Washington DC to vote against telecom immunity!

None of this sits well wtih democrats who pay attention.

45. Agreed Windy!
Two important votes that HRC has failed on.
Most people here knew that the vote on the Iraq situation was a vote for war!
And the telecom immunity... sheesh!
I am surprised she didn't vote for Mukasey.

58. What about Obama's votes to continue the war?
He's voted for it every time. No timelines.

As for Kyl/Lieberman ... where was Obama? Didn't he miss that vote?

And since, as you admit, there's not much other difference between them, why the
O-basm?

Isolating themselves from discordant information, in preference to an echo chamber.

That is known as "exclusivism", and is a hallmark of Obamites.

You're right...I don't want any more of the moron we have in the WH now...which is why I'll never
cast a vote for YOUR candidate.

If Obama wins, it will be "meet the new boss...same as the old boss."

After all, Obama just basically told the media to move on from the Rezko story (as if they ever covered it anyway). He basically said there was no more to know.

That eerily reminds me of George W. Bush, who said in January 2005: "We had an accountability moment. It's called the 2004 election."

We need to be told the whole truth.

You're right! It's time to demand that the media investigate Obama's "dirty" laundry.

Funny, Obama pandering the republicans out in Kansas and Nebraska to get votes, makes one wonder who's side is this guy on.

53. WOW, Have you been playing with the OUIJA BOARD, or are you using your MAGIC 8 BALL
to come to the conclusion Obama will ruin our country.

How do you know Obama supporters are uneducated?

Because they went to an Obama rally?

Well...charisma doesn't put food on anyone's table, or help them pay their bills. Charisma doesn't lower the number of people living in poverty, or without health insurance.

Sheesh, have you ever thought these people believe Obama WILL help to put food on the table, and help them pay their bills, and provide them with health care?

Would Hillary do the same?

I've seen Hillary's rallies, I could also claim the same nonsense, that the people who go to hear and see her or part of a CULT.

Does that make it true?........................ NO.

I believe people are inspired by Barack. All the rallies I've seen of Barack's has been filled with hopeful people, looking for someone to believe in.

Back in the sixties our candidates drew large crowds, does that mean they were cultist?............No, they were looking for hope a candidate they could believe in.

John Kerry drew large crowds during his campaign, were they there as a part of a cult?............Hell NO. They were there looking for hope and a candidate they could believe in.

I detest you comparing ANY of our candidates to Mad king Boy George, and you should be ashamed of yourself. I would also scold anyone who would make that claim against Hillary.

Why don't you find constructive things about our candidates and quit tearing them down?

I've seen two of these photos lately. IMO people should support a candidate they like, but should never put a politician on a pedestal. Those who do will soon be disappointed! Don't go for hero worship. Be "the change" you "believe" in, don't wait for someone to deliver it to you.
