(apparently for BOTH parties)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080213/ap_on_el_pr/delegates_blacks

"In an interview, Bond said the NAACP had taken no position in the race between Clinton and Obama and would not endorse either candidate. He sent the letter on behalf of the voters in Michigan and especially Florida, where the Republican-controlled legislature and governor changed the state's primary date.

"It struck me as making the voters, including minority voters in Florida particularly, victims of the Republican legislature in Florida. I wanted to get Chairman Dean to find some way to rectify the situation," Bond said."

I didn't know this, but it makes me more sympathetic to the concerns Bond expressed. If the state Democrats did not really defy the DNC rules, then I don't think that the FL voters should be penalized for this. However, I never know whether I am getting the full story from the corporate media.

6. Doesnt matter, it didnt count
At this point, Hillary would lose all influence in the Party if she pursued seating Florida and Michigan now that she's solidly behind in delegate counts.

It would reinforce the notion she is a poor loser.

10. With the support of the Florida Democratic Party who then refused every compromise offer by the DNC
The state Democrats most certainly did defy the DNC rules.

11. I know
I had posted about this before but it didn't get anywhere

As far as the Dems voting for it except one, we are outnumbered in the legislature here in Fl just like we were in DC. and it would have passed anyway. We tried to make our votes count. but alas 2000 returned
