1. Hillary is as classless as it comes
Everyone was up in arms about the apparent 'snub', but no one mentions how Clinton doesn't even have the decency to congratulate Obama on his victories. She's so arrogant and cocky that she can't believe she's losing. She's in denial. I hope she goes down in flames.

2. Just in terms of my own consistency
I didn't care if Obama snubbed Hillary and I don't care about this either.

3. They thought they were going to win this nomination easily
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 12:12 AM by BrentTaylor
They don't know how to react. I can understand the disappointment

4. She really struggles with defeat.
It is impossible for her to admit she is losing. Just as it is impossible for her to acknowledge regret
for her Iraq war vote.

If you study her history, it looks as if denial is one of her major major coping skills.

11. I was talking about George Bush.
I guess republican bashing isn't as obvious as it used to be now that there are Democrats on the average DUer's enemy list.

12. Hopefully it is not as obvious
because we are focusing on our future now and moving beyond this nightmare
The nightmare that in the past seemed endless.

Sorry that I missed the meaning of your first response to my post.
I think there is some truth to your second response. We
are all a little jumpy these days. It can get rough around here.

21. It also could have applied to
John "100 more years in Iraq" McCain. He's pretty delusional too.

16. Seriously....
....when it comes to her involvement in contests for elected office, she's had it so easy that she simply has no idea what to do when the tide is firmly against her. She's just lost out there at the moment, and I think that a lot of people will become increasingly thankful that the risk of her melting down like this didn't come about in the general if the campaign wasn't going entirely to plan.

6. If Hillaryworld was a boat, there is water streaming in the engine room
I'd guess that the lifeboats are being inspected and getting lowered in the water.

Hillary's campaign is nearly out of money and there are no real resources deployed on the ground in the next states. Ohio and Texas are now being flooded with the very organized Obama ground team.

then it would have to be named...SASSYLAND!

Sorry, couldn't resist. I love that skit.

7. Obama: Still no apology for McClurkin
You want to talk about a snub, an insult, and lack of class? I think 20-30 millon Americans must count for just as much as one man.

You'll have to pardon me if I feel this "congratulations" issue is really trivial right now.

14. She can't. It's down to her and him.
It's easier to do when the contest has multiple players.

18. Since there are mutliple threads on this...
... and with the same title, no less, I thought I'd push this edition to the front page since we're talking about matters of insults and class.

Posting new threads with the same title just to shove the rebuttal below to the next page where it won't be seen won't work. Sorry. I'm not asleep at the wheel.

20. How do you push something to the front page?
I'm still getting the hang of the ins and outs of DU.

22. If someone obviously doesn't like how your thread is going...
... i.e., in their favor, they post another thread with either the same or nearly the same title. That way the thread posted last leapfrogs over the "offending" one they don't want others to read and no one can tell the difference.

If you want to keep your thread kicked to the front page, all you have to do is hit the reply button, type in "kick" (or anything you want) and click "send message". That keeps your thread from scrolling into oblivion. You can also kick threads for others, as I just did for yours.

:hi:
