Dem superdelegate Elanor Holmes Norton just told Steve Colbert |
|
that the Dem superdelegates will act in a "small-d democratic fashion" and vote for the candidate who has the majority of the delegates.
On the other hand, Dem superdelgate Elliot Spitzer says he's going with Hillary all the way.

Methinks the Clintons will be bribing and/or threatening every superdelegate they can get their hands on. Let's hope that it doesn't work.

7. Spitzer's stupid drivers license idea is what killed the "Inevitable" candidate. |

didn't think it was so bad. hilary didn't win Iowa and started going negative..the negative dive started her own dive, imo.

11. The negative dive would've worked if she hadn't stumbled so badly |
|
on that debate question. Obama had no opening until then. Credit him for seizing the opportunity. She truly was the inevitable candidate until then. The negative turn was to end the race quickly so she could marshall resources for the GE and begin the centrist appeal necessary to win the WH. Spitzer just needed to wait for 1 stinking year to propose the bill. But Spitzer is just out for Spitzer. I wouldn't be surprised to see him put out an exceptional effort for Obama in the GE w/ hopes of a cabinet (AG?) position.

'Cause I didn't watch the debates ..only read about them on DU. If that was the beginning then I'll have to thank Spitzer 'cause anything to take down "miss inevatibility" is okay with me.

They will need to weigh the value of the caucuses. Caucuses represent a much smaller portion of the electorate.
