6. This is nothing but a $$$ romp --- and major nonsense to lock in votes ---
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 01:27 AM by defendandprotect
LONG before the people really understand what is going on and who these people are
--- and perhaps when even before other candidates might jump in if we weren't being pressured
to DECIDE!!!

I think JFK announced his run for the president only a few months before the election --- ???

And the romp is about gathering locked in votes --- not really communicating with the public.

It's garbage --- all presented for our pleasure by corporate-media --

to be followed by a corporate-controlled election.

Anyone want to reminisce about 2000 . . . 2004 . . . and do any wondering about 2006 . . . ?

AND, THE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES CAME IN DURING THE MID-1960'S ...

THAT'S WHEN THE STEALS BEGAN---

3. The only candidate for whom I felt any enthusiasm dropped out a long time ago.
To be honest, I'm more bored than anything at this point. A friend of mine told me tonight that Obama won Virginia. I think I managed to say "oh really?" before going back to my routine.

7. Are we robots? Or, should we have some expectations about voting . .. ????
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 02:20 AM by defendandprotect
Like having candidates who aren't taking money from corporations and elites --- ?

Like barring corporations from ANY involvement in our elections --- ?

Like having votes counted ---

a fair method of election --- eliminating electoral college ===

and having third party candidates to choose from --- IRV

and having the popular vote actually elect the president ---

How many steals are we still set up for --- ????

10. I've got electronic machines I vote on here in GA.
I don't trust them, and I remind the poll workers of that every time I go vote on them. I advise throwing them into the Ocmulgee River.

But I still vote. It's what I do.
