Can Obama connect with Latinos? |
|
If you look at the results so far, Barack's weak support in that group is the one thing that's kept HRC competitive. It also cost him California and will likely decide Texas.
What are the roots of Obama's difficulties with Latino voters and does he have a chance of fixing the problems?

1. He won the Latino vote tonight. He's doing better and better with young Latino voters, and Latinos |
|
skew youngest of any ethnic group.

2. The fact that they don't know him well yet, and are just finding out |
|
his stance on the issue.
Once they know that his policies favor are more progressive than Hillary's and that the was against the war while she was voting for it, he cinches the deal...especially with Latino Men and the younger ones.
It is just a matter of time.
And as I stated when the Hillary poster first came out with the "Hispanics don't vote for Black Candidates", that is not true. Obama won the Latino vote while running against an Hispanic.
Obama's difficulties with the Latino voters is a fairytale......and it's about to come to a happy ending for Obama.
The Hillary campaign played divisive racial politics, and it is all going to come home to roost.
