Hillary's Communications Director
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 08:52 AM by I Vote In Pittsburgh
Wow, I'm listening to Howard Wolfson, I really do feel sorry for Hillary. For a communications director, he certainly says "uhhh...." a lot. He also speaks in a boring monotone and is terrible at answering reporter's questions. For example, he was asked about the losses this month, and all he could come up with is how Obama wins caucuses. Hillary really needs to replace this guy.

4. Thanks for correcting the spelling of Hillary's name.
It makes you seem so less of a flamebaiter.

5. Most of the Communications Director's work takes place behind the scenes
so being an eloquent on-air personality is not one of the top requirements for the job.

6. He was very subdued. He is usually a lot feistier.
All the people I used to dislike with a passion...I don't have the heart anymore.

7. When you first start posting in DU, it helps to not be a jackass.
Anyway, I don't think who Clinton's communications director is is gonna matter much in the long run.

12. IMHO...that is emblematic of hillary's problems
She's used the same old folks from her husbands campaigns. Which is why it seems morel like Bill Jr. running. Fresh blood would have been one way to distance herself.

13. Howard Wolfson was instrumental in her two Senate victories
Why wouldn't she use him again?

16. Ok, so let's see

She's not supposed to use anyone who worked on the the last successful Democratic presidential campaign. She's not supposed to use anyone who worked for her on her Senate campaign.

That doesn't leave her with many options, does it? At least if she wants to use anyone with any experience.

The holier-than-thou second-guessing around here is fascinating.
