How much does Hillary need to win TX & OH by to stay in contention? |
|
We keep talking about how Hillary needs to win both of those states to be able to contend. But, how much does she need to win by? If she wins 51% - 48% will that be good enough? Does she need to win by a 10 point margin in both states to get enough delegates to stay in this race?
I think she's up by about 15 points in both polls - so assuming that still holds, would it be enough.
And, does she really need enough delegates from those two wins to leapfrog Obama back into the lead to stay in.. or can she win the races, still be behind in delegates, and just stay in to PA and try to beat him there?
Just looking for "win by X margin" posts to see if there is a consensous.
Thanks!

2. Chuck Todd was talking about this last night on MSNBC |
|
I think he said she needs to win by at least 57%.

3. Is it likely that she will win by that high of a number in those states? |
|
I don't know exactly where she's polling.. but her wins over Obama tend to be much smaller then his wins over her.
So, not only does she have to win - but she has to win big.. it's going to be a tough neck-and-neck race for her next month.

4. Last night, 56-57%. By Friday, 99.4% |
|
And they'll STILL whine that it's biased in her favor.
