Fox News affiliate, MSNBC News, just compared Hillary to Bush |
|
Before their TV commercial, they asked the viewers a question something like, 'What do Hillary Clinton and George Bush have in common? We'll tell you after the break.'
After the commercial they went on to say how Bush has gotten in so much trouble sticking to loyalty instead of going with competence. They used a couple examples like Gonzalez and others that he chose to stick with instead of going with competency. Then they speculated that perhaps Hillary's problems in this campaign is that she has been going with loyalty instead of competence, I guess in reference to some of her managers or whatever. It was a really feeble point they were trying to make, and I don't even know why they bothered, other than to simply launch the idea that Hillary isn't competent.
How nice of MSNBC to help Hillary out like that. Here I thought I'd never live to see the day when they'd compare her to such a fine president as Bush in terms of competency. I think she should send them a thank you note.

1. But the plan seems to be working, doesn't it? |
|
After all, there's plenty of proof right around here.

8. Yes, it's working very well.... |
|
And to think that so many people claim they are not influenced at all by the media...

2. I do not understand your concern |
|
if that is the only reason to compare Hillary to junior, then thta seems to me to be pretty insignificant.
As to their point, are you suggesting that there have not been campaign errors so far?
I do not see any reason to be concerned about this - or fault MS/NBC for this view. There are certainly more significant reasons than this.

9. I didn't "praise" anything. I just inferred people should know the facts of the case |

4. Just another example of the media trying to lead us. |
|
MSNBC just will not stop Hillary bashing. It's their team that is incompetent and loyal to their Hillary bashing cause.

5. Sometimes I feel like I've gone crazy |
|
The stuff I've been reading in here lately is pure lunacy.
Support the press. Be mortally outraged at extramarital sex. Minimize GLBT issues. Deliberately re-write history to blame Bill Clinton, even if it DOESN'T. Call random issues "the race card". Compliment Chris Matthews, Frank Rich, Joe Klein, Mo Dowd.
But the stuff from the press itself ... it's a frenzy. A riot. It's like 1993-2000 compressed into a few weeks and tinged with misogyny.
All this work to destroy one woman?

So if GD-P is the anti-Fox, and Fox is the devil...
