13. Keep trying to push that lie. It is now universally accepted that the
Clintons introduced the race card. That's why they're LOSING. But if it makes you feel better to hang on to that old, tired canard, be my guest. ;)

14. "Universally accepted" by the Obamites only.
That doesn't fit the definition in my dictionary of "universal."

19. they swiftboated us by pitting us against each other... and Obama played into it with the race card!
he lied about Rezco and hides his true self.. played the race card and allowed the Clinton's to be swiftboated... and that is why as each day goes by... I realize... I can't vote to support a lier and a race card player...

the republicans were real smart with this one...

get us pissed at each other... play the race card.. Obama bit hard on it... then push the bandwagon BS with the media pushing Obama down our throats as a savior and MLK/JFK reincarnation and then make each side vow to not vote for the other... they planned it... they executed it and here we are... a bunch of pissed off democrats! blacks are all pissed off and refusing to vote for anyone but Obama...

and if Obama is the nominee the kool-aid drinkers will be given a reality check and they will attack Obama on everything from Rezco to the fact the guy has no experience.. they will find an Osama tape from years ago (I truly believe the guy died of health problems years ago) and drum it as a new and scary threat and people will look at Obama and the tape of Osama and vote McCain...

two outcomes:

#1 They swiftboat Obama and McCain wins the White House and future Supreme Court picks will take away all our liberties for 30 years... and we will be at war for eternity.. the middle class will totally die

#2 Obama wins and they will make him look like the inexperienced person his is... make him the new Carter.. nice guy but a recession and international problems.. we will retain our label as weak on National Security and lose the White House in 2012 and probably go back to a congress that is republican...

why because we are all a bunch of liberal dreamers!

32. I do not think this will die down--its a wound that will continue to fester. I do
not think many of us will forget this. Can't much talk about this on this board lest someone claims we are racist.

But yesterday and previously, there were cries about Krugman being shill, and now you're dissing Bart-cop, too? Because they don't appear to be in love with your candidate?

If he, too, turned around and threw under the bus every other resource Liberals and other anti-RWers have held dear for seven years, for the sake of one candidate who has been attacking Dems via RW talking points, thanks very much.

Next up: Noam Chomsky - Soviet chump.

6. It's always the media's fault.
Everytime a candidate loses a campaign, they blame the media. Oldest cliche in the book.

20. Respect this, then.
Some of us think for ourselves. Some of us have been fooled by beautiful rhetoric before, when the lack of substance was revealed. So respect the fact that some of us want to see some substance before we jump on the bandwagon.

As I've said elsewhere today: Obama makes a magnificent, inspiring speech. I, of all people, love that. But we're facing serious challenges - almost insurmountable challenges - and it's going to take more than rhetoric to overcome them. I, for one, want to see some substance. I think the Fish cartoon pretty much nailed it.

23. No insult intended.
I could have been insulted by your "used to respect you" comment, but I chose not to be insulted. I never said YOU don't think for yourself, although it is clear that some in both camps don't think for themselves.

Remember, this is primary season in GD/P. Things get weird, my friend.

18. The measure of a good political cartoon is whether it presents the
truth with a ingle image. I'd put this one in the same pile with all the Mallard Fillmore atempts.
