The Senate is shackled by the power of fear and the threat of terrorism
..from this Administration. They are scared to death another terrorist attack will happen if they do not give George W Bush everything he asks for, and if that happened, it would be the demise of their Party. They would be forever branded as "weak on national defense". So the White House plays all of them like puppets on a string. They do not tell the Congress anything. There is no oversight. There is no debate. It is a sad and pitiful predicament in which we find ourselves. It's a secret - we can't tell you. We are protecting our nation from another attack, the White House says. As they and their friends laugh all the way to the bank...

1. Nothing left to fear but fear itself
The regime is still using fear very successfully

2. Interested in your opinion here kentuck
as I usually am.
Do you think we will have a terror attack on this soil prior to the elections?
Or do you believe we will have a terror attack on this soil between November and January if a Democrat wins?
I have my thoughts and if you don't feel like sharing them...I understand.:hi:

4. We are under terrorist attack daily...
from our government. When they use fear as effectively as they do, for purely political reasons, that is terrorism. Whether or not we will have an attack from al Qaeda or another group is doubtful but it is not a gamble that our politicians are willing to take. I would hope we would have a leader that could explain to the American people that there are risks within a free society. We need to work with our allies to make the world safer. Fear is destroying our nation. I despise these people that use fear for political purposes.

The one truth is that in no way is the WH protecting the American people. When will these politicians wake up? Fear is a crippling thing but we have to wake up!!!!! That is my message to people who pass by our peace vigils twice a week....Wake the *ell Up!!! Peace, KIm
