This is Officially the U2 Primaries |
|
Seriously people, look at their campaign theme songs as it appears. Obama has been doing City of Blinding Lights by U2, I believe Edwards had been using Miracle Drug by U2, and now in El Paso, Hillary used Where the streets Have no Name...by U2. Dems like Bono I guess.

2. And if you listen to the actual lyrics... |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 12:39 PM by hiaasenrocks
the song being used by the Obama campaign says:
The more you see the less you know The less you find out as you go
Hmm.
And Hillary's:
I want to run I want to hide
Interesting choices.

Whatever, I like all three songs, though Hillary's is one of my favs.

4. They should be using the Spin Doctors |
|
They can both use "two princes" and Hillary... she can have "little miss can't be wrong" all to herself.

7. u2 is the band that everybody can agree on, including tom brady |
|
there was a great article in the new york times leading into the super bowl. a reporter asked tom brady what his favorite band was. his response? "U2"
the reported commented that he KNEW that brady would say that, because u2 is the type of band that has no controversy, no edge, etc. tom brady, always careful about his image, could answer the question in a way that wouldn't offend anybody. bono does his work with charity, and we all remember the 2001 super bowl when u2 played and they projected the names of the dead on a huge banner midfield.
i'm going to turn on the joshua tree right now! :D
