2. There's plenty of stuff including what you say that I would
like the candidates to speak out about. The big one is the huge cost of Bush's war for Saudi Arabia that we are fighting and paying for. Yes, I want them to start speaking out about how Saudi Arabia has been influencing our foreign policy in the Middle East and fueling the war in Iraq. I want a BIG discussion about this from our candidates before the general election.

5. Not Saudi Arabia
There's only one country influencing our foreign policy in the middle east, and not only is fueling the war in Iraq but is the only reason for the war in Iraq and future war in Iran. Care to take a guess which country I'm talking about ?

13. I don't play guessing games. Spit it out.
All that friendly smoozing with the Saudis is because the Saudis don't want the majority Muslim sect there in Iraq to be in power because they are an enemy to their wahabism. It's all about the oil and them being able to set the prices to their advantage. That's why they wanted Saddam gone because he was going to convert to Euros screwing up their candy store. That's why they want us there for a hundred years fighting their war with our army and tax money. Grandpa McCain as candidate is more than happy to continue this after the BFEE is dethroned.

8. "Why were the tapes destroyed?" - Arlen Specter, forcefully challenging - the NFL!
He wants to know from the NFL why the tapes from the Patriots' taping scandal weren't preserved.

You make a very good point - they're only courageous enough to perform a weird pantomime of the things they should be doing.

12. How about concerning themselves with the missing WH tapes,
and staying the hell out of professional sports. It's ludicrous.

16. In my office, 90% Republicans feel the same way.
They say:
Why is it the business of the Federal Government what baseball player does?

If the steroids they took are illegal, Then they should be investigated, indicted, and tried in the local jurisdiction to which the charges are levied.

If there's to be a circus about 'roids in Baseball, let the comissioner and the fans sort that out. Stop wasting our time and money on this bullshit.

And you know what? I agree with them for once.
