Mark Penn Blames it on the Weather
Blaming the weather

"Bad weather would be adverse for a lot of Senator Clinton's voters who are senior citizens," Mark Penn said on a conference call just now, in response to a question about the bad weather in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland yesterday.

Both people have Seniors voting for them and would probably affect them equally, so the margin would not change.

3. Well as long as he can convince Clinton he keeps his job
Sounds like total BS to me.
Personally I think the biggest problem Clinton has had from day 1 is Penn.

I don't care if Penn blames God him/herself...
He needs to resign. He ain't helping Hillary, and by continuing this charade of a campaign, it's only making the Clinton legacy look bad.

...how they blame just about everything except the fact that they just got whooped.

I can't believe he's getting 4.3 Million dollars for this sort of insightful analysis.

Virginia, Maryland and DC don't matter because sometimes they have bad weather there.

9. It's the weather. It was a caucus. It was a red state. It was a blue state. It was a small state.
Mark Penn speaks and even the flowers wilt.

14. That's three excuses now:
1. The black vote

2. Caucuses (because Hillary supporters are intimidated by Obama supporters)

3. Weather

Does Penn think anyone is taking the excuses seriously at this point?

17. If anything the weather helped the seniors...
The weather wasn't bad during the day while we were all at work. Unlike the retirees who were able to vote during the day, a lot of working folks had to travel from work to the polling places right when the inclement weather kicked in...thus the polls in Maryland staying open an extra 90 minutes.

After battling traffic and icy roads for 2 hours to get home, I know some people may have just skipped voting.

18. Obama should've complained that good weather cost him NH
All the seniors could get out to vote that day.

IMHO Penn and McAuliffe should have been the ones to get canned from Hillary's staff!

21. I blame it on Mark Penn...
All of it. He has given her terrible advice. His approach and lack of respect for American politics and the American people likely cost her this election.

As an Obama supporter, perhaps I should be thanking him, but I honestly feel badly for Hillary that her so-called "advisers" have done her so wrong.

24. I actually predicted this last night
I was at an Obama victory party and I predicted that the weather would be the Clinton campaign's latest excuse for getting trounced. Okay, so maybe if the weather was better, she'd have lost by 28 points instead of 29.

26. Has anyone read Penn's book, 'Microtrends'?
It's all about knowing what 'little things' to keep an eye on that tell you the time is right for your product, or a new idea, technology, whatever. If he wasn't bening paid va$t amount$ of money to 'advise' Hillary he'd be out there pointing out all the signs that told the observant that Obama was a serious candidate with a real chance to win.

27. Yeah.. bad weather on Super Tuesday when tornado's were rolling through
Arkansas was also a problem, but Obama didn't really blame the loss on the weather.

Wow.. Race, Weather, Caucuses, etc... the Clinton camp has every excuse in the book ready to go, except for the truth.

PEOPLE DON'T LIKE HILLARY CLINTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
