People Who Should be Disqualified from Serving on Juries |
|
Caucus-goers who are "intimidated" into supporting a candidate not their own.
That is all.

1. And how, exactly, would you determine that? |
|
Lawyer guy: Sir/Madam, please tell me, are you intimidated by others in a group? Are you afraid to speak your mind?
Juror pool guy: Why, uh, no, I'm not.
Lawyer guy: Thank you, and thanks for being honest.
Please. How the hell would you determine that? As a paralegal, I know there's no real way you can find that out. Let's be a little bit less simplistic, shall we?

2. It's a joke, there, champ |

The point would be that if you can't resist the supposed "peer pressure" of a caucus, I would be terrified of having you on a jury. One either stands on one's principles or one doesn't. The whole "caucuses are too much pressure" may make sense in Sudan or Chad. In these United States, I'm not so sure.
