Carville: If Hillary Loses Either Texas Or Ohio, "This Thing Is Done"
By Eric Kleefeld - February 13, 2008, 3:21PM

Hillary Clinton's previous aura of inevitability is definitely gone — even James Carville is saying her back is against the wall now.

Speaking today to the International Builders Show, a trade conference held in Florida, Carville gave this blunt assessment of Hillary's campaign: "She's behind. Make no mistake. If she loses either Texas or Ohio, this thing is done."

7. He may be biased, but he's not stupid....
What does it mean that her talking heads are now breaking away from the spin and telling it like it is?

You can always count on politicians to think of themselves first.

15. Hillary is will not be done! This is about # of delegates.
It is a fight till the end! GOMAMA. The more people try to drive the stake through her heart the harder she will fight.
After all she is one hell of a woman and her supporters respect her intelligence and experience.

16. Irrespective of any body's opinion of Carville he's BTDT.
I think he's being fairly pragmatic when he makes this statement. If you look at the numbers without trying to insert personal attitude I think he's probably right. He's not selling her out by talking straight, and I doubt there are too many that can question his loyalty to the Clintons.

20. I think that if HRC only ties in TX and Ohio, she loses the nomination
HRC need to pull about 75% of delegates from here on out, just to have a chance.
