KiKi McLean ...on Tucker...Hillary's New Spokesperson ...GOOD! |
|
I enjoyed her. She's new (at least I've never seen her before) and she managed to talk over Tucker like Carville/Begalla used to do back in the Bill Clinton days.
The one thing Tucker got her on (and she was good at diffusing...but not good enough) was WHY WON'T Hillary release her Tax Records. Tucker kept making a big thing that Obama had released his...and Kiki kept deflecting it. I could think that Tucker was asking for something Hillary had already released as his RW Ploy of trying to do a "Gottcha" on Hillary not releasing her tax stuff....but KiKi never really answered why Hillary won't release her "Fed Tax Forms" not her Campaign stuff.
Tucker left it as wanting Hillary's Fed Forms and KiKi left it as: "Tucker, we're working on that."
So...KiKi is GOOD spokesperson....I liked her...and she's admitting she has to "work on Hillary" to get those pesky Fed Tax Forms... and it leads me to believe that Tucker wasn't doing a RW Gottcha on something Hillary had "already released"...as some RW Rovian Ploy...but that Hillary really HAS NOT released the same Info as Obama has.
Go KiKi! If Hillary has fired some of her inner circle and it allows Kiki to get her voice out there...then good on her. Let's see if she can do some kind of PUSH BACK to the Obama Juggernaut!

6. She's on MSNBC a lot. But, I've got to be petty here... |
|
and say that her overall "look" today was horrible. Particularly the eye shadow.
Anywho, she usually plays the part of the "peppy, positive mouthpiece" very well. Always on point. But her response to the tax return attack by Tucker was poor. "We'll work on it"??? Not good.
But, in the interest of fairness, Tucker really needs to tone it down on the pro-Obama thing. It's pretty obvious.

10. She was totally awesome! |

For Obama's side. That smirky glued-on smile won't cut it. Sorry.
Why should she be commended for not answering a question anyway?

11. She was tap dancing so badly she almost fell out of her chair. She was a real disaster |
|
Did not answer any of his questions just kept barking the same old canned lines. She could not be honest about Hillary snubbing Obama's wins, he tax records, or specifics o her plans.

14. She's usually much stronger. |

Her approach aggravates me to no end, but I usually have to give her points on effectiveness.
Not tonight. That, to me, is another indication of the serious trouble the Clinton campaign is in. When your perky mouthpieces lose their perkiness, that's bad.

I still felt like she was dogding the questions, not deflecting them. As a non-supporter she didn't sway me. I am sure it was fun for a supporter watch because she was tough and gave it right back at him, but I don't know if it would change any minds.
