Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 07:25 PM by still_one
In fact I would argue that if he is critisizing Obama in front of his audience, they will most likely consider that maybe Obama may not be so bad. If you looked at the record of those two clowns you would understand why I am saying this

As far as your other statement, that implies you believe Hillary will be better for your bank accounts. I can only tell you, if she becomes the nominee, kudlow will go even harder on her, and lets see how willing you will be to accept what he says then

Incidently, one of kudlow's good buds, bob brinker, has already come out and said Hillary and Obama will destroy the economy by taxing us

so don't lay that "you aren't a Democrat" shit on me. And I'm sorry if you despise money but let's face it, it's pretty fucking important to a lot of people in this country Republican and Democrat alike. Millions of retired persons and elderly types depend on their investments to survive. They've worked hard to get there and deserve a candidate that will keep thir investments healthy. I don't think the younger generation truly realizes just how important the market is to this country. It means just about everything at this point.

27. I thought immune? Really? Or is it that
you just have imagined that people thought he was immune because you think it makes a good argument.

The fact is that nobody thought he was going to be immune from GOP attack. This is a cute little narrative that you've imagined in your head, just another example of the arguments of anti-Obama people running well ahead of reality.

Nobody thought he was going to be immune to Republican attacks. Nobody.

So your argument, essentially, sucks. There's no there there.

the very fate of this country and, quite possibly the world, depends on the US stock market doing well. There is not one thing in America that is more important at this point because soooo many working class Americans are invested in it and depending on it. What is a 65 year old retired factory worker going to do if his investments fail, go back to work? Where?

52. Sure it is...
You can pretend that people you disagree with are saying something easily refuted. That's fine. It's not honest, but it's fine. There's a difference between saying that SOME moderate Republicans will peel off and vote for Obama (refute that) and saying that he will not be attacked once he is the candidate. There's a gap the size of the grand canyon between those claims. You can pretend that they are the same, but nobody honest would agree with you. They are vastly different claims that you're conflating here because it makes a pithy argument. It's a fucking lie.

I forgot about my high yield savings accounts too. I've made about $275 off those since Feb1st with zero risk and guaranteed returns. As the storm dies down, I'll start moving in on traditionally strong performers with good global exposure i.e. McDonalds, Coca Cola, etc. I'm looking to jump all over gold when it hits around $900 too. Chinese hunger for metals will drive the price up much higher than it is now. same for Platinum and less valuable metals. Also, did you notice the telecom stocks today. they responded as expected to the teelcom vote yesterday. I was thinking a Hillary win would be excellent for the Healthcare industry and I intended to jump all over that too but it looks like I'm going to have to rethink that. :(

--in August 2007, a study by Barron's founded that Mad Money host Jim Cramer's stock choices on the show had consistently underperformed the stock market index, the Dow Jones Industrial Average. CNBC responded that Barron's was looking at the data incorrectly, but Barron's found that even when the data was using CNBC's metric, Cramer still had not performed better than the market.---

--in 2006 Cramer's suggested portfolio lost money "despite nearly every major equity market on earth being up between about 15% and 30%--

Before he got the big Keynote Speech (which is what is typically said to have made him an overnight Rockstar). B.O. passed the audition with the Washington-Wall Street nexus. He had to get vetted by the corporate-imperial players. Some of that is detailed in "Barack Obama, Inc." by Ken Silverstein (Harpers), which you can read online at
