Lapel flag pin...
Just one of many issues the MSM/GOP has begun to use in attacking Obama. Seems silly, doesn't it? A small and inconsequential factor that they'll use to plant questions in people's minds. That's how they do it, next it will be something just as meaningless that will be played over and over again creating uncertainty.

If Obama wins the nomination this is how it will play out when he and McCain go toe to toe. The seasoned, patriarcal, independent, POW with nothin' - and I mean nothing! - to lose against the young, idealistic, untested senator with one state term and one year in the senate under his belt (he spent several years in the presidential campaign). The politically young senator who never waged a real campaign against anyone now has to face the highly seasoned, politically savvy senior senator who's run against - that's right George Bush. The George Bush who kicked his ass royally. The George Bush/repug machine that spread lies about his "illegitimate black child" and his wife's drug habit. McCain has been exposed to the best of the worst and he will not allow an untested upstart to take this away from him.

4. Isn't Obama fighting against the best right now? The name the history
the connections, the inside the party playbook, the loyalties, the owed favors, the money...etc. Hillary has no excuses here, none.

16. Touched by your concern...
...but those of us who support Obama have already heard these accusations from GOP types months ago. Trying visiting Media Matters for America and doing a search on Obama. Outlets like Fox News have already slung a bunh of mud at him. Rush Limbaugh was playing a song on his radio station called 'Barack the Magic Negro'. Don't even get me started on the 'but he's a muslim, I tell ya!' nonsense.

Hillary supporters have been complaining the MSM gives Obama a free ride. That's going to be the mantra of conservatives right up until election day, because they've already tried the smears and nothing sticks. They were well ready for a fight with Hillary, but Obama scares the pants off them. Interestingly, if you look at some of the conservative websites like Worldnetdaily and so on, half of their ad slots are vacant because the market for Anti-Hillary merchandise, books, and so on is suddenly drying up. The conservative blogosphere is experiencing its own recession right now - they don't like McCain much, the woman they have loved to hate since 1992 looks to be losing the race for the nomination, and Obama-hatred isn't a hot product. Ouch.

Incidentally McCain's wife did have a prescription drug habit. She admitted it herself. Just as a matter of fact.

26. Don't worry, they'll just make things up as they go along, plus they'll troll DU for material...
That's why we Democrats should vow to have our candidates' backs instead of tearing down those that aren't our personal favorites.
