Arrogant Clinton Campaign: Your state isn't significant
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/02/13/662535.aspx

“Could we possibly have a nominee who hasn't won any of the significant states -- outside of Illinois?” Chief Strategist Mark Penn said. “That raises some serious questions about Sen. Obama.”

Yeah, that means that:

Iowa
South Carolina
Alabama
Alaska
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Georgia
Idaho
Illinois
Kansas
Minnesota
Missouri
North Dakota
Utah
Louisiana
Nebraska
Washington
Maine
Maryland
Virginia
District of Columbia

aren't significant in the eyes of the Clinton campaign.

How are the people who voted for her in those states feeling now?

2. I think Clinton wants to ruin the Democratic party.
The Clintons are a cancer.

3. Just fine, thanks.
Louisiana has not been significant in national politics for a long time. We even have a love-hate relationship with our democratic senator, Mary Landrieu. I can't remember the last time a dem presidential nominee won this state. Perhaps someone could fill me in.

4. So, if a Republican said your state wasn't significant,
you'd nod your head in agreement.

5. Oh, sour grapes!
Clinton will draw a “clear contrast” between herself and Obama by showing that she is in the “21st Century solution business and not the promise business.”

Too bad she didn't think of that BEFORE Obama said she was a throwback to the last century. It's just like her claiming to be the REAL change candidate AFTER they saw how well that meme worked in Iowa. Don't they ever have an original thought? Same old, same old -- like the student on Hardball said, Clinton's "stale."

8. Hey, I am neither an Obama camper nor a snot nosed kid
But it peeves me no end that the OP has a valid question

And snotty remarks here at DU in response to valid questions don't help your candidate's cause

Talk about petty...

Spit the grape out. They'll give you a tummy ache.

9. Virgin Islands, Samoa, also, then Wisconsin and Hawaii will be added next tuesday
Then Rhode Island and Vermont too since she only cares about Texas and Ohio,

After that the list will just go on and on, unless she gets knocked out in Ohio, or Texas, or both.

11. Well, apparently...
Only the "Superdelegates" are significant to her now. You know, those delegates NOT chosen by a vote of the people. Other than votes in Florida and Michigan, of course!

Frankly, there's nothing about 21-10, or an average victory margin of over 15% per state, that I don't understand. But I guess if you want to win badly enough that you become delusional, your math is a bit, er, fuzzier.:eyes:

B-)

13. That article is hysterical! Clinton just now decided to 'open offices' in small states?
Just shows you who is the leader, and who is the follower.
