Hillary Clinton is very unlikely to get the nomination. Obama has a 1116-989 pledged delegate advantage. Hillary would need something on the order of 70% of all pledged delegates to gain the slightest edge by the last primary.

It may not be over, well yes it is over, but we do have a front runner, and thats Barack Obama.

We can now switch to General election mode, which means..... yes thats right, its time to beat up on John McCain. And post in GD, with no limit about how McCain is going to get thumped in the general.

Man the mainstays, avast the swales and limp the yardbarkels.

Edited for Hyperbole.

2. What about popular votes?
I find it interesting that a group that rightfully felt robbed in 2000 when the number of delegates - electoral votes - ruled over the number of popular votes, is now willing to go for number of delegates over popular votes. Example; Nevada.

8. Obama is leading in popular votes - even with MI and FL included.
She is losing by huge margins.

Clinton (10)

Arkansas +43
Oklahoma +24
New York +17
Massachusetts +15
Tennessee +13
California +10
New Jersey +10
Arizona +9
Nevada +6
New Hampshire +3

Obama (22)

Idaho +62
DC +51
Alaska +50
Kansas +48
Washington +37
Georgia +36
Nebraska +36
Colorado +35
Minnesota +35
Illinois+32
South Carolina +32
Virginia +29
North Dakota +24
Maryland +23
Louisiana +21
Maine +19
Utah +18
Alabama +14
Delaware +10
Iowa +9
Connecticut +4
Missouri +1

Clinton has only won two states by more than 20 points. Obama has won 15 by that margin.

In the post-Super Tuesday contests, these are Obama's margins:

DC +51
Washington +37
Nebraska +36
Virginia +29
Maryland +23
Louisiana +21
Maine +19

"it's now time to switch to GE mode." Very confusing. What is your final answer? I voted for Obama in MD but I am not relaxing as yet. Too many contests still out there. The fat lady may have roused herself from her nap but she has not made her way to the microphone as yet.

17. With strong westerlies predicted for the next 3 weeks...
Obama should have plenty of wind to carry him through Texas.

IMO, March 4th will be the day Hillary's camp acknowledges the math is simply not there.

He should take TX and will be competitive in OH and PA.

GoBama!
