1. when the levee breaks, momma you got to move
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break,
When The Levee Breaks I'll have no place to stay.

Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan,
Got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home,
Oh, well, oh, well, oh, well.

Don't it make you feel bad
When you're tryin' to find your way home,
You don't know which way to go?
If you're goin' down South
They go no work to do,
If you don't know about Chicago.

Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
Now, cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
When the levee breaks, mama, you got to move.

All last night sat on the levee and moaned,
Thinkin' about me baby and my happy home.
Going, going to Chicago... Going to Chicago... Sorry but I can't take you...
Going down... going down now... going down....

be ready to attack Hillary. Thom Hartmann was at the Conservative Political Action Committee conference last week (?) and said that there was table after table after table of Hillary attack books and toys (dartboards, pincushions...).

I believe that we will throw their attack machine off by nominating Obama.

There will be dirt - no way to avoid that - especially now that we know (in a post-Swiftboat-Vets-for-Truth world) that if they can't find dirt they will make it up -- outright, opposite of the truth dirt.

On edit: Finish my thought in the last sentence.

10. Hi IndyOp - Interesting - maybe the people who say the rw
was pushing her all along were right, huh.

You know everything, let me ask you a question. When they do a national poll, at this point in the primary, how do they do it? Do they just poll the states that haven't voted yet? Or the whole nation? I also wonder if they include Michigan and Florida.

There is a lot of talk about MI and FL - but I did some number crunching and even though Hillary "won" them, the net difference was only 58 delegates for her.

30. I don't know the answer to your question about the national poll -
the polls probably differ in methodology and you would need to read about each one to figure out how they poll. I assumed that they poll nationwide but maybe not...?

I really hope that MI and FL will get to have a late primary or caucus -- sometime in April or May -- so that both campaigns can be active in the states and the citizens will be represented at the convention. I am concerned that if the MI and FL delegates are seated at the DNC convention then Democratic voter turnout will be lower in November than it could/should be.

:hi:

14. Newsflash! There are a bunch of Pubs and Independents that LIKE Obama
No, really. I can't believe you democrats are still toying with putting the Hildog up for the nomination. There are a metric buttload of moderate Pubs and independents that would either vote for Obama or sit the election out and not vote for McCain (thereby handing Obama the election) if Obama is your nominee. Fuck Hillary - Ya'll need to get behind Obama with a quickness.

History has shown that the Democrats could fuck up a wet dream, so I'm not holding my breath.

25. Just to let you know...
You will get deleted for talk like that. You have to talk "nice" here or they will alert you. I agree with your assesment about the election. Obama would electoraly do for the Dem's what Reagan did in the 80's. Obama has large crossover appeal. Weirdly, some here think that is a bad thing.

32. They will save millions more by knocking her out in the primary.
Do you seriously believe you are going to throw the Pukes off their game and back on their heels?

They've already hit Hillary with all they've got and she's still standing. They know they're going to put everyone to sleep with the repeats. The GE would look like the writer's strike never ended. Tweety will even bore himself silly, and you know how he loves the sound of his blather. They might have to up his meds. Now THAT is going to cost MSNBC a pretty penny.

22. How do I know this poll isn't defective too?
Gallup was caught in the 2004 election manipulating the numbers by polling in more Republicans than Democrats and by polling more red states than blue. So when they came up with a 52% polling for Clinton and a thirty-something percentage for Obama last week, guess what, that was off the charts wrong. There is no way that Firedoglake could put them at a 4.60 margin of error, with that kind of "nukular" spread.
