Ann Coulter Claims Credit for Hillary's Fall, Says Barack "President Hussein" Obama Will Probably Win

Ann Coulter, who endorsed Hillary Clinton a few weeks ago, was a guest on Fox's "premiere business news" show, Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (February 13, 2008). Cavuto teased today's appearance with,

Alright. So, when we come back, Ann Coulter takes credit for what she is calling the Clinton collapse. Ann, on Hillary, on the race, on the mess, on the controversy -- most of which she generates. After this.

After a break and after he told the audience about Ann Coulter's latest book, and showed a picture of the cover, Cavuto turned to Coulter and used one of his favorite phrases, "Hillary Clinton's in deep doo-doo."

By way of explanation and in response to Cavuto's hype, and over a chyron that read, "Coulter: Hillary Clinton Lost Last Night Because of Me," Coulter said, "Yes, my endorsement strategy worked perfectly." Apparently she thinks her endorsement turned Democrats against Clinton and she alone is responsible for Hillary's crash. Ah yes, a legend in her own mind...

Anyway, with that, Coulter went on to talk about how this is the "worst collection of candidates" she's seen in her life. About how "both candidates" (not clear precisely which "both" as she talked about McCain a lot too), "have been chosen by George Soros." She said if we have another terrorist attack "B. Hussein Obama" (she used that several times) and John McCain will "take a tour of Mecca." And at the end she said about Obama: "It's shocking that he's probably going to be our next president. President Hussein."

Howsabout a little DU unity on Valentine's Day? Let 'er have it!

:loveya:

(As an aside, is this a preview of general election GOP "tactics"?)

ETA: Here's a giggle for everyone:

She's too ridiculous to be true. She's a caricature, not a human being.

Let me know what you find!

16. Pretty much a hit piece on McCain
Forgetting her penchant for "B. Hussein Obama", I will admit that this was funny:
A few more primary wins and B. Hussein Obama will be able to light up a cigarette during a televised speech and still get the nomination.

She couldn't be more correct.

She's just a performance artist, she doesn't believe half the shit she spews. It's all for $$ and attention.

I just feel sorry for anyone who takes her seriously.

once I get past throwing up in my throat.

Her column today is actually rather amusing (once you get past the ham handed slurs against the dems)

Today featured a full frontal on McCain in comparison to St. Mittens of The Romney.

7. Wow.. i can only imagine what Ann's thereapist charges her..
talk about ISSUES. That woman is a train wreck.. I don't even think she knows what she's talking about anymore.

I'd say this is her form of back-peddeling her statement that she'd vote for Hillary over McCain. At the time she was trying to sway voters away from McCain. Didn't work. Now she has to do damage control (HA!) and this is what she comes up with.

"See Everyone, it's ME! I'm responsible for making sure Hillary doesn't get into the white house". Wow.. pathetic. McCain is actually lucky that this chick doesn't like him.. give him some sort of credability with the Indies he's trying to pull.

In case you didn't notice, Coulter slammed both Hillary and Obama in this piece.

Given the ink the incident's been getting on the RW blogs you think Coulter would be calling him Che Guevara Obama if she really wanted to appear with the times.

19. So is there something wrong
with the name Hussein? The way people throw it around, you'd think it's some kind of insult. If it's a muslim name so what? Aren't there millions of good, decent, loyal American muslims?

I can't believe this kind of prejudice is so mainstream and accepted.

37. There's nothing wrong with Hussein at all
Among the majority of RW talking-heads, Coulter's the only one who still seems to think that "Hussein" is going to persuade anyone other than the dead-end 30% who wouldn't vote for Obama anyway even if his name was "Patrick Henry Smith".

So far, I haven't seen any significant coverage of the Che posters on the main networks but the RW seems to think this is something that will "stick" as they are definitely pushing it within their channels.

One would think that they would have held their fire a bit though since the Obama camp should be able to effectively squash it before primary season is over.

and this is just the beginning. I think its complete utter bullshit. But people are going to fall for it. I have a dear friend, who is a Dem, bring up that Obama was "muslim". I sent him a few articles including snopes explaining that was not the case.

Its really pathetic. Obama may not be my guy but that does not mean I agree with this ridiculous attack on him.

32. Try harder Ann
The only thing this desperate, talentless hack has going for her is that outrageousness thing. First the "kill their leaders, invade their countries" crap, then going after Max Cleland and finally going after the 9/11 families. She has had to keep upping the ante to stay even marginally relevant. Now she is just recycling her older garbage.

C'mon Ann you need to become even more racist, sexist, foul-mouthed and vile (difficult as that would be at this point) to sell books now. Even your brain-dead "fans" are not going to pay $$ to read the same old crap :eyes:.

Well then, let's see what Ann will do in an attempt to keep herself relevant.
