Donate to Obama twice. Obama Campaign sell 500 bumper sticker for $150. Then pass them around

I wanted to go to TX and pass out bumper stickers in small towns. I don't know if the campaign hq will give me the stickers so I went to the Obama store and found out that 500 stickers cost $150 plus $10 shipping. Check it out!!

Next, if anybody wants to forward me some stickers I'll be going to TX next Friday night (weather willing). My 500 won't go far.

I own and fly a little Cessna 172. The plane has 13 feet of "OBAMA" under it's wing. It's registered with the campaign. I plan to fly from little town to little town as long as they show up on the GPS and pass out stickers. If anybody wants to come I can take 2 more (bring 500 sticker and about $100 for fuel). I'm leaving from WPB FL (actually Stuart), weather willing, next Friday evening. I can pick up anybody near my path that starts in SE FL and along the coast to TX.

There will be no flight plan. Pick an airport on the GPS and call the approach! After landing, see if we can find some folks that want stickers on their cars. Put some on a table in the airport. And head out to the next.

He has a Tomahawk and I think you just gave him an idea. I wouldn't be surprised if he put Obama's name on the underside of his low wings. Thanks for your effort and fly safe!!

12. The process of putting the tape on the plane is on the obama posting.

The tape is now a year old and it's holding up pretty well. I have had to reattach a couple of edges. One tip of the M started pealing but I just put 1/2 inch more tape and it's fine. This weekend I'll get some carpet tape I feel very confident with the fix of the tape (I was worried for the first 20 hrs that it might peel and give me and embarrassing moment), it sticks and the one tip that started to peel showed me it will come off with no adverse affects to the paint.

I've got the print-out of the design if you want it, just ask, I'll digitize it and post it. I just used MSWord and scaled everything to the max length and width of the wing (notice it does not touch control surfaces). You can use the scale given in the Obama post for the sizes of the chars. I'm not sure how the Tomahawk wind size compares to the 172.

One advantage to having it under your wing is that when the plane is on the ground nobody can see it and hence avoid and "problems" with those that disagree.

Indeed, tape it on, and fly around your city. Closed traffic with long down-winds work great.
