First started hanging around DU in 2004. Even registered here at that time, but could not remember the user name/email when I decided to post again here a few weeks ago. Posted with the Clarkies in 2004, and remember some of you from that time. Also, have an internet forum that used to be very active in political posting, but not so much since last fall. Freepers invaded the place, and there was much strife. So, did some lurking here again, and decided to join in from time to time.

Live in the Seattle area, very interested in politics. Edwards supporter by way of Gore not getting in.

known about DU for a long time, but lurked. Found solace online after 2000 disaster, spending time at bartcop's irc, but when that became too consuming restrained myself to Eschaton, Kos, TPM, TBogg, etc. Excitement over a democratic victory pushed me back out of the woodwork.
