Pakistan Times: Obama statement as “Sheer ignorance”
Tariq terms Obama statement as “Sheer ignorance”
Pakistani Minister of State Tariq Azeem has accused Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama of ‘sheer ignorance’ on Thursday for threatening to launch US military strikes against al Qaeda on Pakistani soil.

Obama warned that if he is elected president, he would order US forces to hit extremist targets on Pakistan’s frontier with Afghanistan if President Pervez Musharraf failed to act. “Such statements are being made out of sheer ignorance,” Pakistan’s Minister of State for Information, Tariq Azeem, told media.

He said, “They are not fully apprised about the ground realities and not aware of the efforts made by Pakistan added, we have said before that we will not allow anyone to infringe our sovereignty.” “If there is any actionable intelligence they should tell us and only our forces will take action on it and they are quite capable of it.”
...
Pakistan’s Ambassador in the United States Mehmood Ali Durrani has termed the White House hopeful Barack Obama’ statement as speculative and irresponsible.
...
Governor Balochistan Owais Ahmed Ghani has said that Pakistan’s steps against extremism would be affected by the provocative statement by America’s presidential candidate. In an interview in Washington he said Barack Obama’s statement regarding attack on Pakistan’s territory is likely to evoke reaction in Pakistan.

5. Just like Bill Clinton did when he bombed Afghanistan
And Reagan bombed Libya. John Edwards said he would do the same thing along with Hillary Clinton. Hillary did say she would let them know that the bombs were coming so they wouldn't think it was coming from India or someplace else.

This is established U.S. policy.
