The anonymity of internet forums allows people to express themselves in ways they might not if they were interacting in person.

If you were given 5 minutes to speak privately to the candidate you oppose (not you choice), what would you say and do ?

Feel free to give specific examples.

7. My thoughts exactly

My wife asked me the other day while watching a town hall on TV if I was given the opportunity to ask a candidate one question what would it be. While a conversation in private would be a bit different the essence of what I would try to discern would be the same. In a public forum I would like to ask Obama and Clinton if H.R. 676 hit their desk as President, as it is written today, would they sign it?

Privately I would go in to more details, etc.

8. I think that's a great question.

My guess is that both Hillary and Barack would sign single-payer health care. (I hope!)
The big issue is could it get through congress first.

could not get through congress. However, even though I don't think they would say they would sign it on the campaign trail. Down deep they would both like to see it passed.
