Relevant? I believe so
I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. So I ran over and said, “Stop! Don't do it!”
“Why shouldn’t I?” he asked
I said, “Well, there’s so much to live for.”
“Like what?” he said
I said, “Well, are you religious or atheist?”
He said “Religious.”
I said “Me too! Are you Christian, Buddhist, or Muslim?”
“Christian”
“Me too,” I said, “ Are you catholic or protestant?”
“Protestant”
“Me too! Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?”
He said, “Baptist.”
I said, “Wow, me too! Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?”
He said, “Baptist Church of God.”
I said “Me too! Are you Original Baptist Church of God or Reformed Baptist Church of God?”
“Reformed Baptist Church of God.”
I said “Me too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1879 or Reformed Baptist Church of God Reformation of 1915.”
He said, “Reformed Baptist Church of God reformation of 1915.”
I said, “Die Heretic scum!” and pushed him off.

Take my point? Raise me another?

I too hope that when the primaries are done (or earlier if possible), we unite.

4. But this post isn't about religion. Not really.
It's about tolerance.

6. I know that - but many religions don't tend to teach "tolerance", do they?
And followers seem to be turning increasingly intolerant towards those whose religious views do not mirror theirs, in addition to the gross intolerance (always based on twisted interpretations of one holy book or another) towards GLBT people.

This is why I say religion is a curse on humanity. It gives people a "group" they can belong to, but also a feeling of superiority over anyone NOT in that group.
